Please note

Sightings are not guaranteed. Some nights will have complete cloud cover, and there is not much to do about that. Driving in Icelandic winter can be challenging, and you need to evaluate whether it is safe. Roads and parking areas might be snow-heavy and require a 4x4 vehicle. Weather warnings might be in place, and roads are sometimes closed.
